The current health emergency has effected many countries, economies, health, educational and training systems in recent weeks. The consequences of this situation is found in the daily lives of every person, not only at national level, but also internationally.
This emergency situation also leads us to reflect on the global challenges that we have faced in recent decades and on how much more of an integrated international strategy is increasingly needed, starting from the cooperation between all the actors involved: companies, NPOs, professionals, startups, institutions and government bodies, investors, journalists, innovators, policy makers, researchers, business leaders and citizens.
Today we have enormous technological potential which, combined with genius, creativity and human capital, can be used to face the great challenges of our time. Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, advanced Communication and Marketing tools, prototypes, virtual and augmented reality, can more than ever, be used to identify and support opportunities to face great global changes and international emergencies.
GLOBAL ONLINE EVENT
Start the Future is the international online event which aims to respond to the current health emergency and other global issues using technological and digital innovation. The initiative is scheduled for April 7th, on the occasion of World Health Day and aims to connect, using the Open Innovation model, the various ecosystem players to identify support solutions for citizens, businesses, schools, healthcare facilities and government bodies that are currently facing emergency.
Participation in the Start the Future event is totally free and open to all. During the event, innovative projects, testimonials, products and services will be presented that can be used to face great global changes and international emergencies.
